Dear Nova Cosmetic Center,
I am an African American female with type five skin; whenever I
have a breakout my skin hyper pigments, leaving many blemishes on my
face. I have always been told that my skin was too dark to have a
chemical peel and that there really wasn’t anything that I could do
to correct my skin tone.
A few weeks ago my esthetician Karen told me that I should think
about having a VI Peel, that it would do wonders for my complexion.
In the beginning I was very skeptical, after all I have always been
told that I had to learn to live with the blemishes that I have had
since a teenager; but I trusted Karen and Nova and decided to give
it a try.
So I did the chemical peel and it did burn for a moment but then
it was really easy. I went home slept with the peel on my face,
washed it in the morning and used the antiseptic pads provided, put
on sunscreen and then my makeup and went on with my day. Day 2 was a
little different the peel started to work and the first thing that I
noticed was that dark spots started coming up all over my face! I
started to panic a little bit and called Nova. Lorraine and Nancy
calmed my fears and explained that that was the peel bringing
everything up from deep within my skin. Day 3 was when the peeling
began! All I had to do is keep it moisturized with the provided
moisturizer and protected with the provided sunscreen and that was
it! Day 4 and 5 was much more of the same but Day 6 was my favorite.
On Day 6 all the peeling was completely finished, the blemishes
were gone and all that I was left with was clear skin! People were
commenting that I was glowing!

me! I am recommending you and the VI Peel to all of my friends and
coworkers!
