Perlane®               >>SPECIAL OFFERS

A short 30-45 minute trip to Nova Cosmetic Center and you could be rid of those stubborn facial lines and wrinkles that seem to make you look sad, unhappy and tired. A product similar to Restylane®, Perlane® is used to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds restoring volume and fullness to the skin. Intended for deeper injection, Perlane® adds volume for structural support and lift. Applied by injection with an ultra fine needle, Perlane® is a non-surgical treatment. It is a safe and natural way to eliminate deep facial lines.
As our skin ages, the Hyaluronic acid, an acid which is found in the skin and tissue, becomes depleted. Perlane® works to replace the Hyaluronic acid to the skin. It is composed of the Hyaluronic acid already found in our skin. Therefore, Perlane® is safe and pre-treatment skin testing is unnecessary. Perlane®, like Restylane®, is non-animal based and free from animal proteins thus there is no risk of disease transmission. Its hydrophilic or water loving nature both attracts and binds water molecules to help maintain volume and shape. Results are long lasting. Most commonly, results last for at least six months. However, Perlane® is a biodegradable gel, therefore it is not permanent.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is Perlane®?

Perlane® is an injectable cosmetic dermal filler used to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds restoring volume and fullness to the skin. It adds volume for structural support and lift.

How does Perlane® work?

Perlane® is injected into the skin or just below the skin. It is composed of Hyaluronic acid. Because of its hydrophilic or water loving nature, Perlane® attracts and binds water molecules to help maintain volume. Its three dimensional structure allows it to bind water many times its own weight. This provides continual filling as the gel begins to degrade causing Perlane® to last between six months and a year.

What are the differences between Perlane®, Restylane® and other injectable fillers?

Perlane® and Restylane are composed of the same Hyaluronic acid. Perlane® is composed of larger gel particles and consists of a higher concentration of Hyaluronic acid than is found in Restylane®. It is intended for deeper injection to add volume for structural support and lift for filling deep lines and wrinkles.

Is any skin testing needed prior to treatment?

Because Hyaluronic acid is found in the body, there is no need for any skin testing.

How long do the results of Perlane® last?

Perlane® is a long-lasting injectable filler. The affect of Perlane® commonly lasts at least six months. Since Perlane® is biodegradable, the gel particles will slowly degrade with no harmful affects to the body.
