We all know that the eyes are the window to the soul therefore you want to have eyes that stand out and enhance your attractiveness. Long lashes are the true attraction to your eyes. Since most of us are not born with long lashes we use makeup to extende the lashes. Now, there is a product that provides those long eye lashes with the introduction of Latisse®, the first FDA-approved prescription treatment. Latisse® enhances the length, thickness and darkness of the eyelashes. Our patients at New Image Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center in Orlando have found amazing results with this revolutionary treatment.
Dr. Jan V. Karlin and the New Image Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center staff are excited to provide this treatment to the men and women in the greater Orlando community. Latisse® has helped individuals from Altamonte Springs, Kissimmee, Apopka, Sanford and Winter Park improve the overall appearance of their eyes. If you live in the Central Florida area and would like more information about Latisse®, then please book a complimentary consultation with us today. In as little as 16 weeks, your lashes can be longer, fuller, thicker and darker.
Is Latisse® Right for Me?
Typical candidates for our Latisse® treatment in Orlando are men and women who feel that their eyelashes are lacking in density or volume. Latisse® won’t make your eyelashes curl or look unnatural. It will just make them more prominent and noticeable. It is important to keep in mind, though, that Latisse® is not a replacement for mascara, although you can still use mascara in addition to Latisse®.
How Does Latisse® Work?
The exact way Latisse® works is unknown. However, the treatment is believed to affect the growth (anagen) phase of the eyelash hair cycle in two ways. First, it increases the length of this phase; and second, it increases the number of hairs in the phase. Fundamentally, Latisse® boosts the pigmentation and strength of your eyelashes.
Applying Latisse® is a simple process. Using a sterile, disposable applicator, our Orlando Latisse® patients apply the clear liquid once a day to the base of the upper eyelashes. It really couldn’t be any easier.
When Can I Expect Results with Latisse®?
The results from your Latisse® treatments in Orlando will be gradual, but you may begin to notice improvements in the first couple of weeks. Your lashes will continue to become fuller, longer and darker week by week. In the clinical trial, the majority of Latisse® users saw a significant improvement by two months.
