Dr. Karlin has practiced plastic and
reconstructive surgery for over 20 years. He also practices
phlebology, an area of medicine that specifically focuses on the
treatment of
varicose and
spider vein
conditions. An exciting new area of his practice is his
introduction of anti-aging and

replacement. And to supplement these anti-aging therapies,
Dr. Karlin incorporates the most advanced non-surgical age

New England, previously practiced in Palm Springs, Beverly
Hills, and St. Petersburg, Florida prior to becoming the Medical
Director of

Orlando, Florida. He received his Bachelor's Degree from
Harvard University and attended Duke University, where he
received his Doctor of Medicine Degree. He served residencies in
general surgery at the University of Miami, Florida and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. His residency in plastic
surgery was completed at the University of Illinois in Chicago,
where he was an instructor in plastic surgery.Dr. Karlin is a member of many local, national, and
international medical societies. He has authored numerous
articles in respected journals and has made many television and
radio appearances, including CNN, KPLA, Eye on L.A., KMAX, KZLA
and KGL. To ensure that he provides his patients with the most
up-to-date techniques, he continuously participates in seminars
and conferences.
Dr. Karlin, known by former patients as "the best surgeon" in
Palm Springs in performing
facial,
breast, and
liposuction surgeries, is also skilled in performing a
variety of
plastic,
cosmetic and
reconstructive surgeries. These include
breast
augmentation;
breast reduction;
laser facial
resurfacing;
face,
