The Nova Cosmetic Centers are very fortunate to have the talents of a plastic surgeon with such prestigious credentials. Dr Karlin, originally from New England, previously practiced in Palm Springs, Beverly Hills, and St. Petersburg, Florida prior to becoming the Medical Director of Nova Cosmetic Center in Orlando, Florida. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Harvard University and attended Duke University, where he received his Doctor of Medicine Degree. He served residencies in general surgery at the University of Miami, Florida and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. His residency in plastic surgery was completed at the University of Illinois in Chicago, where he was an instructor in plastic surgery.

Dr. Karlin is a member of many local, national, and international medical societies. He has authored numerous articles in respected journals and has made many television and radio appearances, including CNN, KPLA, Eye on L.A., KMAX, KZLA and KGL. To ensure that he provides his patients with the most up-to-date techniques, he continuously participates in seminars and conferences.
